In recent years, the bathroom is no longer a little room which serves to merely relieve the most intimate of our bodily functions.  Increasingly, bathrooms have begun to take on the quality of living space. It is in the bathroom that we find retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life and it is where we can revitalize our body and mind. This is why renowned designers foresee increasing integration of the bedroom and bathroom and study into a single living space. Thus, people are finding it more important to be able to design a bathroom which can meet their needs and yet be aesthetically appealing. This is why glass and wood materials have become more popular as they can create a warmer, cozier and more comfortable feeling.

Kitchen

The kitchens of today are a far cry from the grimy, hot and stuffy kitchens of yesteryear.  Kitchens are now slowly beginning to be integrated into  the living room. Together, they create a social space for family and friends to get together.  This avant-garde creation allows much more flexibility in the designs of the kitchen and also calls for more creativity.  Open-concept kitchens are thus all the rage. Kitchen designs are much more trendy and elegant with vibrant and striking colours or dark tones or dramatic hues. Technology is also used to bring more functionality to the kitchen or simply to make work in the kitchen easier.
